Rana Calypso 15 man saturation diving system
Calypso, a twin to the RANA AF05 saturation diving system, is close to commissioning.
It is a modular system, able to support up to 15 divers and giving them the capability to work at different depths.
Due to its modular design it can be installed in several possible configurations, allowing great flexibility. It may be installed with deployment overside or through a moon pool.
Composition
Calypso consists of three six man chambers and one three man chamber, with associated wet pot/TUP locks.
The bell handling system is an A-frame with hydraulic winches powered by twin hydraulic power units (HPU).
It has a dedicated hyperbaric rescue chamber (HRC) which is not used as a decompression chamber.

The system is designed, built and maintained in accordance with IMCA guidelines for Offshore Diving Systems D018 and D024.
